2 posts + 1 day = Lucky You!
I spoke with Mom yesterday and I totally forgot to post this in my last one. Yesterday she went in for her PET scan. For the PET scan they injected her with some radioactive sugar serum. She said that they mixed it up in Minnesota, at the perfect time to get it to Watertown for her appointment. I guess once it’s mixed up it starts to lose its potency after awhile. They flew it in a led tube that kind of looked like a thermos, injected her and then scanned her. She said she wasn’t “dangerously radioactive” but I called her Radioactive Woman because it reminded me of the Simpsons. We won’t know the results until Thursday.
It’s amazing the kinds of leaps and bounds in health care we have made!
