Schedule

It has been brought to my attention that I haven’t exactly posted what Mom’s treatment schedule is like. I guess it’s been a whirlwind of information and I may have glazed over that a bit too quickly.

Mom goes in every day (M-F She gets the weekends off) in the afternoon for Radiation. She is there for about a half an hour and the radiation has moved from 28 Clicks to 18 clicks. Meaning, the machine clicks 18 times before she’s complete – which is about 8-9 minutes of laying still which causes incredible pain in her arm.

On Wednesday she goes in around 10:30 for a 2 hour dose of Chemotherapy, goes back to work and then returns in the afternoon for her Radiation.

What can I say? My Mom’s a trooper!

Tony texted her to see if she wanted to go to the Zoo yesterday and she said “I got my nap – so Yep, I’ll go”. She got pretty tired walking around but was able to rest and keep going. She said she wouldn’t have been able to without her nap.

So, that's what Mom does in a week!
All the Love in the Universe, Abby
