Chemo 1

Mom went in today for a 4.5 hour Chemo Session. She had some blood work done and then sat in the chair while a bag of Benadryl, Nausea Meds and then three bags of Chemo were pumped into her body via her port. She said she slept a lot because the Benadryl made her sleepy. Kathy put together a fun little Chemo Care package with a couple books to read and things to keep her busy during her upcoming sessions.

It was great to see Mom this weekend and spend time together as a family. She looks really great and seems like she's feeling pretty good too!

Please keep Mom in your prayers as she continues to battle with her cancer, we can see the light at the end of the tunnel but the tunnel is still pretty daunting.
