Leaving ICU this morning... they were going to feed her and then kick her out to a regular room.
Sounds like sleeping wasn't easy, but she did get some rest.

The Healthiest Patient in the ICU
Mom's going to spend the night in the ICU.
Dr.Hardy says she's doing just fine, but since she's still on oxygen they'd like to keep an eye on her overnight.
Dr. Hardy called her the "Healthiest patient in the ICU" ... now there's a title.
Shannon will likely spend the night in the hospital with her and hopefully she'll get to bring her home on Saturday.

Mom's procedure went well this morning.
She was in and out in about an hour or so, spent some time in the recovery room, and then the Doctors moved her to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
She had a bit of trouble catching her breath when she was coming out of the anesthesia so they wanted to keep a closer eye on her.
Trying to catch your breath after being intubated for surgery with one good lung isn't for the weak of heart I'm sure.
Shannon says that she looks pretty tired, but seems to be recovering well.
They're planning to give her a little medication to make her comfortable, and perhaps remove some of the junk from her lung to help her breath better.
